The Latest NALE Projects!
An Effer 2200, a 44000 Marine Crane, a beautiful Effer 850 and a Grapple system!
Our latest projects involve both land and sea, and are working on both coasts!
EFFER 2200
We recently completed a custom-designed Effer 2200-6s+4s jib, the largest production articulating crane in the world! The versatility, flexibility, lifting power and set-up times of Effer cranes are unmatched, and in an urban environment, with traffic, tight streets and permitting issues to negotiate, those features are crucial for a positive return on investment. Check out our 2200 gallery for some great pics of this beautiful truck and crane package!
EFFER 4400 Marine Crane
Going to the opposite coast, and heading towards the water, we recently delivered an Effer 44000 crane to Kvichak Marine Industries in Seattle, WA., who installed it onto the John A.B. Dillard, an Army Corp of Engineers boat. Check the pics of this wonderful boat and its Effer 44000 crane here.
EFFER 165 4s with Grapple
Heading south, The City of San Francisco Golden Gate Park has recently accepted delivery of a new Effer model 165 4S with a log and debris grapple attached to the end of the boom tip. Check out the pictures of this crane in action here.
The Effer crane is unique because it affords the operator two different methods of crane controls, radio remote and a special behind cab walk through control station.
This set up allows the operator complete control of heavy log and debris loading onto the heavy duty flatbed body. This machine is mounted on a Freightliner M2 cab chassis.
Operator Jerome recently told us:
“We are saving many labor hours now that we can lift and haul the logs on the new truck. Before we could not haul any logs on the truck with the old crane, it took a lot of extra time and another driver. Thanks Effer, really nice unit.”
